This year CIS of Clark County is partnering with Dare to Care to provide hot meals for students in the middle and high schools every evening during 21st CCLC programming.  One night a week, the meal is provided for students AND their families.  In addition, once a month, there is facilitated “family dinner conversation” that is led by a CIS staff member or a member of the community, depending on the topic.  The high school even has a DJ come each week to help liven things up!  This is our first year to provide the family meals, and it took a little time to get things up and running, but students and families now really seem to look forward to getting together for the family night meals.
