Communities In Schools of Clark County was started in 2002 to improve school achievement. The purpose of the organization was to coordinate resources for students and families and eliminate everyday barriers to learning. The organization is now one of 187 local affiliates of the national Communities in Schools organization.
Our organization provides resources, supports, and programming to partner schools in Clark County, Indiana. Services often include tutoring, literacy mentoring, basic needs resources, after school programming, service or homework clubs, and access to mental health services. Our model of services ensures that the whole community comes together to support the students of Clark County.
